Good afternoon everyone

Easter is normally a time full of traditions, customs and times of connecting with loved ones. Easter 2020 will forever go down as a unique time in our lives with the weekend lockdown rules being applied across most of Australia creating an opportunity to ‘connect’ differently over the long weekend.

Last week, James launched the #connection campaign – a campaign to provoke sharing of a virtual hug across your virtual and social network. There has been some tremendous momentum behind the campaign and who wouldn’t want to spread some kindness and virtual hugs during this period of time!

I’d like to reiterate for our Feel the Magic community that our team is constantly thinking of you. The #connection campaign stemmed from what is most critical to Feel the Magic – the creation of safety in those around you. So, sending a virtual hug was a small piece of Camp shared in current times for the people at the top of our minds.

We also know that special events in our lives can also be challenging and difficult and that support during these times can often feel lessened or faded. Knowing that some of you may be finding it tough or challenging right now doesn’t sit right with us so please let us know how we can help and we’ll see what we can do.

The COVID-19 across Australia seems to be flattening – some great progress as it appears most of Australia have responded to the Government’s requests and this is taking affect. We’ll get through this together so long as we ‘keep to the course’. In the meantime, our virtual hugs have come your way – please share these and hopefully the Easter break was a time to connect with your loved in your own ‘lockdown’ situation.

Stay safe, stay home and look out for the communities around you.

Kind Regards
