Good afternoon everyone

As the new norm sets in and we continue to work through these challenging times, its been incredibly humbling to receive some very positive feedback from the Feel the Magic community – I greatly appreciate this and thank you. The positive sentiments received has reinforced the need to ensure we are reaching out to family and friends to ‘check-in’ on them.

The team has been meeting twice a week to ‘check-in’ and keep a positive momentum on our Healthy Grieving Program which we will trial as a team next week. We will then look to pilot the program with a group from within the Feel the Magic community – bringing a new way of supporting our bereaved children and their families to our community.

I, like everyone, have been challenged a little with the remote working and isolation – not seeing my new ‘Feel the Magic’ family regularly to give a hug to has been hard. I am very grateful for the family time and the unusual amount of time my family with me!! We had a good laugh on the weekend when my 8-year old daughter had a crazy hair and hat carnival!!

We are sharing a virtual hug this week – a great initiative from James our co-founder. Look out for the campaign and please, share a virtual hug across your virtual communities!! Look out for the #connection challenge – aligned to one of our core values but doing it differently for now!

Stay safe, stay home and look out for the communities around you.

Kind Regards
